Granny Square Earrings

Materials:
- 28g sterling silver wire
- Size F/5 (3.75 mm) crochet hook
- 4 small silver spacer beads
- 2 freshwater pearl beads
- 2 earring hooks
- Wire cutters
Granny Square — make 2.
With wire, ch 4. Join with a sl st in the first ch to make a loop.
Rnd 1. Ch 6 (counts as 1 dc and 3 ch), (3 dc in ring, ch 3) 3 times, 2 dc in ring, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch. 12 dc and 4 ch-3 sp.
Rnd 2. Sl st in next ch-3 sp, ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in ch-sp, ch 3, 3 dc in same ch-3 sp, *(3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in next ch-3 sp; rep from * around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch-3. 24 dc and 4 ch-3 sp.
Sl st up to next ch-3 sp. Finish off, leaving a 6-inch tail.
Finishing
Thread 1 silver bead, 1 pearl, and 1 more silver bead onto wire tail. Thread tail through bottom loop of earring hook and wrap it around at least 3 times. Thread tail back through beads and trim.
