• Green Lion Brand Homespun or bulky weight yarn
• Gold Vanna’s Glamour or sport weight yarn
• Size N (9.0mm) crochet hook
• 1 (1.5-inch) button
• Yarn needle

Directions

With green and gold yarns held together, ch 36.

Row 1. Sc in 7th ch from hook (first 7 ch form buttonhole), dc in next ch, *sc in next ch, dc in next ch; rep from * across. 30 st.

Row 2. Ch 1; turn. Sc in first st, dc in next st, *sc in next st, dc in next st; rep from * across. 30 st.
Rows 3 & 4. Rep Row 2.

Row 5. Ch 13; turn. 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook and ea rem ch, skip next sc in Row 4, sc in next sc; tentacle made. *Ch 13, 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook and ea rem ch, skip next sc in Row 4, sc in next sc; rep from * across. 15 tentacles.
Finish off. Sew button to Row 1 on opposite end of button hole. Weave in all ends.
